New Mass Volunteers To properly celebrate the 10:00 am mass at All Saints High School (ASHS) starting 19 October we need volunteers for all ministry functions. If you plan on at celebrating at ASHS please consider offering your talents and let us know by signing the volunteer sheet available on the back table at the church and the school. Please do so even if you are currently a volunteer, so we can be assured of a complete list.

Parish Census As we make progress with the New Building Fund campaign, it has become apparent that our parish data base needs to be updated, as some information is not current. At each mass during the month of October each family will be provided with a census form. We ask you to complete one form per family. It will be collected after mass and used to update the data base. Adult children, who are parishioners, whether living at home or not, are asked to complete their own form.

Children's Liturgy will be available at the 10:00 am mass for children ages 4-10 at ASHS starting 19 October. Any parents who are interested in volunteering please contact Carolyn Crummer at 613-254-981. We are currently in need of volunteer assistants and welcome high school students working on accumulating volunteer hours. carolyncrummer@sympatico.ca

Congratulations to all couples who celebrated wedding anniversaries in the month of September:

Our Community

On Sunday, October 5th, LIFE CHAIN is asking you to join the pro-life movement as a witness. Little ones cannot speak for themselves and so we will stand peacefully and prayerfully to raise awareness of abortion. Join your friends, family and neighbours as we attempt to protect the vulnerability of those waiting to be born. Signs are provided. Meet on Sunday October 5th from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the March and Dunrobin Road intersection.

40 Days for Life This fall, from September 24-November 2, 2008, our community will be uniting with dozens of other cities across North America – and around the world – for the largest and longest coordinated pro-life mobilization in history – the 40 Days for Life campaign. Archbishop Terrence Prendergast has gratefully endorsed this Life Mission. 40 Days for Life is a focused pro-life campaign that has generated measurable lifesaving results in more than 130 cities where it has been implemented. The 40 Days for Life campaign is made up of these key components:
